The fifteen 'Clue Cards' each featured the title screen of a different Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode.
In addition, both sets included special bases for the Mystery Inc.
All cards in the original set featured stills from the classic TV series. There were 230 cards released in the original set, with a 132 card expansion created in March 2001 to promote the release of Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders. Players were encouraged to buy additional booster packs, after purchasing a starter deck, in order to collect cards which were more scarce. The game featured seven card types, which performed different roles during gameplay. Will Scooby run away? Probably, but hopefully you brought your box of Scooby Snacks. As you explore different locations for clues you might find Captain Cutler or the Creeper in your path. But WATCH OUT! Your opponent is trying to stop you.
